On 28th January 2025, a tripartite agreement was signed between GUANGZHOU ICEBERG ENVIRONMENTAL Consulting Services Co., Ltd, RBI, and ICEBERG ENVIRONMENT PTE LTD regarding the management of borehole maintenance in Rwanda’s Southern Province.

Guangzhou Iceberg Environmental Consulting Services Co., Ltd is a Chinese company headquartered in GUANGZHOU, responsible for project design and implementation, while ICEBERG ENVIRONMENT PTE LTD is a Singapore-based company specialized in environmental consultancy, serving as the financial provider for this project.

RBI’s tasks include supervision of maintenance and facilitating the project approval process by REMA (Rwanda Environment Management Authority).

The project involves 251 boreholes across the Kamonyi, Ruhango, and Nyanza Districts in Rwanda’s Southern Province.

The agreement is effective from 28th January until project approval by REMA. All parties agreed to collaborate for successful completion and to extend the partnership in the near future.
