Grant signing ceremony with Embassy of Japan in Rwanda
Today marks a milestone in Rwanda! The Embassy of Japan has awarded a grant of USD 89,725 to support children living with disabilities. The project, designed by Resilient Builders Initiative (RBI) in partnership with AVEH UMURERWA, will construct a one stored dormitory to accommodate more than 100 children.
Ambassador of Japan, H.E. NAKAJO Kazuya, emphasized the importance of this collaboration. Justine RUTABAGAYA, Legal Representative of RBI, expressed deep gratitude to the Embassy and the Government of Japan for their support and pledged to ensure the project meets the highest standards while fostering extended partnership.
Meanwhile, Eugene NDAYAMBAJE, Legal Representative of AVEH UMURERWA, thanked RBI for their commitment and looks forward to continued cooperation for the success of this project.
In this project, AVEH UMURERWA is the grant beneficiary, while RBI serves as the project developer, overseeing and reporting progress. Together, they are building hope and dignity for children with disabilities in Rwanda.
