Partnership Signing Ceremony with AYABS Foundaton/USA
On 30 th September 2024, an MoU between AYABS FOUNDATION USA RBI-Rwanda has been signed to initiate the bipartite partnership. The purpose of this MoU is to provide a framework of cooperation and facilitate collaboration between the Parties in areas of common interest. AYABS FOUNDATION USA is a USA organization with a vision of “A world in which human suffering is alleviated, poverty is defeated and the life and dignity of human beings is protected” and a mission for Eradicating hunger, poverty and creating lasting solutions to social injustices while improving the quality of life to the poorest and Marginalized people globally”. Their mission is achieved through Communities engagement, Culture strengthening, Social well-being and Anti-discrimination.
The RESILIENT BUILDERS INITIATIVE (RBI) is a Rwandan NGO with vision to create a world where resilience is a reality for vulnerable populations by addressing critical environmental issues and to build a more equitable and sustainable planet. And a mission for build resilient communities by providing sustainable solutions, fostering innovation, and promoting collaboration. The aim is to empower individuals and communities to overcome challenges, adapt to change, and thrive in the face of adversity through Food security and climate resilience, humanitarian, WASH and social Inclusion, women and youth empowerment.
The reason of partnership is that both organizations share a common goal of using holistic methods of educating/engaging the community. The two organization recognize the importance of equipping the next generation with valuable skills through educating children and the community as a whole, especially in the areas of culture, humanitarian, WASH, environment and anti-discrimination.
Moses TANYI, Executive Director of AYABS FOUNDATION USA said that “ We are so happy that AYABS FOUNDATION USA has arrived to partner with RBI so that our mission and goals shall be achieved easily. We thanks RBI team for acceptance and encourage them to share hands so that more can be achieved” On RBI side, Executive director said that :” this is an opportunity for opening many doors to different donors through AYABS FOUNDATION” He thanks for the trust hoping that the future will be better.
The event ended by signing Memorandum of Understanding that will guide the whole period of partnership.
