RBI and ICEBERG TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE EMMISSION CUTS IN RWANDA
On January 22, the Resilient Builders Initiative (RBI) held a strategic meeting with Singapore-based ICEBERG ENVIRONMENT PTE. LTD, headquartered at Robinson Road, Singapore, and represented by Director Ji Bao. The discussions focused on expanding collaboration in the carbon market under Paris Agreement Article 6.2, with a particular emphasis on reducing emissions through the promotion of LPG gas cookers in Rwanda. As part of the feasibility study, several companies in Kigali were visited, and if successful, the initiative is expected to launch within the next two months.
Ji Bao, ICEBERG Manager expressed strong satisfaction with the ongoing safe water project in Rwanda, where RBI has been providing supervisory and technical support. This success has motivated the extension of the partnership into new domains, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable development and climate action. The collaboration marks a significant step toward innovative carbon reduction strategies while strengthening Rwanda’s role in global climate initiatives.
