RBI-IMHH-CHH and AVEH-UMURERWA initiated partnership to support vulnerable people
The date of 17th and 18th July marked by the visit of our new partners “Center for Health and Hope from USA , the international NGO focusing on Global HIV and AIDS. During the visit, other centers, schools and community have been visited like AGAHOZO Shalom, GS Kinyambi, Center for disabled children managed by AVEH-UMURERWA and Gahondo historically marginalized community of Gahondo. The visit objectives was to assess the area of partnership in regards to the most vulnerable communities especially victims of HIV/AIDS, poor communities and children with disabilities.
After a two days tour, a new partnership was initiated between RBI, AVEH-UMURERWA, IMHH and Center for Health & Hope/USA to act together in profit of most vulnerable people. More concepts note have been elaborated in domains of promotion of culture heritage, fighting against HIV/AIDS among children and youth through their economic empowerment, health dignity promotion for disabled children and marginalized community and last but not least children education.
Peter and Justine both Executive and President of Center for Health & Hope said that the center is committed to support Rwandan community where possible and promised to work closely with new Rwandan partners.
The tours was characterized by inaugurating different houses constructed for pro-poor families and supported by the center in Kamonyi and Rubavu district.
